Who is this course for?
This course is for learners who would like to learn how to create their own website. Previous experience is not required, however you should be able to use a computer confidently.

What can I expect to learn?
This course will teach learners to design and build beautiful websites by learning the basic principles of design like branding, color theory, and typography which are all instrumental in the design process of a website. The course will cover the common coding languages designing a website using HTML5, CSS and Javascript.

How will I learn?
Learning will be online using a variety of videos, reading materials and activities. An IT tutor will be available to contact for support

How will I know how well I am doing?
Practical assignments will be given which will enable you to develop your skills. The tutor will give informal feedback to you after submission of your work

Will I need to do extra work at Home?
This is an onlilne course which can be completed in your own time at your own pace.

What will I need to provide?
You will need access to a PC or laptop with an internet connection to complete this course

Are there any other costs?
There are no other costs associated with this course.

What can I do next?
You may consider a qualification in IT which is available within our Learning Centres. The tutor will be able to give you further advice on other learning opportunities available if required.
