Description
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and knowledge to recognise the risks associated with hazardous substances and how to control them.
What level/qualification is this course?
This is a level 3 course
How will I be taught? How will learning be assessed?
Your tutor will use a number of different teaching methods to develop your skills. These will include a wide range of authentic materials, individual study, working in pairs/group activities and will include the use of video/audio. You will also have the opportunity to use online learning technologies to develop your skills.
Will I need to do any work at home?
Learners undertaking this qualification will be expected to complete at least three hours homework each week. It is always beneficial to practice what you have learnt between sessions.
What do I need to bring with me?
The tutor will advise you of anything else you need to provide but you may find it useful to bring a notepad and pen for making notes and a USB memory stick for saving work.
Are there any other costs after enrolment?
You will be given access to online courseware for your learning. If you would like to use additional/alternative resources you can purchase a book for each unit and bring these to the sessions. Please ask your tutor for details.
